CJ White PT service terms and cancellation policy

CJ White provides the services as a sole trader trading as CJ White PT.

The offer page explains the service, price, dates or booking window, capacity and payment options. A customer can correct their details before selecting the final payment button.

An application or enquiry is not a booking and does not reserve a place. A paid contract is formed only when CJ White PT sends a payment or reservation confirmation after successful payment has been verified and, for a capacity-limited service, a place is available. If payment is captured but a place cannot be confirmed, CJ White PT will issue a full refund promptly.

Payments are processed by Stripe. CJ White PT does not receive or store full card details.

All prices below are the total consumer price. CJ White PT is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.

RowFitness Greenwich

• Founding six-week block: £60 in total.
• Founding-block deposit option: £10 to reserve a place, followed by £50 due by 22 October 2026.
• Four-class pass after the founding block: £40, valid for 6 weeks.
• Pay as you go after the founding block: £12 per class.

The founding block has a maximum of 10 participants. A deposit reserves one place only after the payment is verified and capacity is still available. If the £50 balance is not received by the deadline, CJ White PT may contact the customer and release the place. Any money retained must follow clause 5 and must reflect a real, reasonable loss rather than act as a penalty.

Six-Week Strength & Confidence Reset

• £399 paid upfront; or
• two separate payments of £210, totalling £420.

The two-payment option is not a subscription and does not permit automatic recurring charges. The first £210 is paid after the application is approved. CJ White PT will issue a separate link for the second £210 after session three. It must be paid before session four; if it is not paid, session four and the remaining programme delivery will pause until payment or a fair cancellation calculation under clause 6 is agreed.

The Reset has a maximum of 4 active places. Approval and verified payment are required before a place is confirmed.

Where the law gives a customer a right to cancel a distance service contract, the customer may cancel within 14 calendar days after the contract is formed without giving a reason. The customer can email a clear cancellation statement to hello@cjwhitept.co.uk or use the model form at the end of these terms.

If the customer expressly asks for a service to begin during that 14-day period, CJ White PT may charge a proportionate amount for the service actually supplied before cancellation. If the service is completed in full during the period after the customer's express request and acknowledgement, the statutory cancellation right may end once it has been fully performed.

The statutory cancellation right may not apply to a leisure service arranged for a specific date or period. Regardless of whether that exception applies, CJ White PT will honour the additional cancellation commitments in clauses 5 and 6. Nothing in these terms removes a statutory right.

Any refund due under the 14-day right will be made within 14 days after CJ White PT is told of the cancellation, normally to the original payment method.

Founding block and deposit

CJ White PT voluntarily offers a full change-of-mind refund if the customer cancels within 14 calendar days of an online payment and no part of the service has been supplied at the customer's request.

After that period but before the founding block starts:

• CJ White PT will take reasonable steps to offer the place to the waitlist.
• If the place is filled, all money paid will be refunded.
• If the place cannot be filled, CJ White PT may retain only the actual reasonable loss caused by the cancellation, capped at £10. The rest will be refunded.

A participant who gives at least 12 hours' notice may convert one missed founding-block session into one later RowFitness class credit. This goodwill credit is limited to one per participant, is valid for six weeks after the founding block ends, has no cash value and is subject to a suitable class having capacity. If CJ White PT cannot offer any reasonable opportunity to use the credit during that period, its expiry will be extended. A later cancellation or no-show uses the fixed session and does not create a credit.

Four-class pass

• The pass includes four class credits and expires 6 weeks after activation.
• A cancellation made at least 12 hours before class returns the credit to the pass.
• A cancellation made less than 12 hours before class, or a no-show, uses the credit.
• A planned CJ White PT closure that overlaps an active pass extends its expiry so the customer does not lose paid access.

Pay as you go

• A cancellation made at least 12 hours before class creates one replacement class credit valid for six weeks.
• A cancellation made less than 12 hours before class, or a no-show, uses the payment.
• If CJ White PT cancels, the customer can choose a replacement credit or a refund for that class.

Cancellation by CJ White PT

If CJ White PT cancels a RowFitness session, the customer will not lose a credit. CJ White PT will restore the credit and extend its expiry, provide a suitable replacement session, or refund the affected undelivered service where a replacement is not suitable.

If CJ White PT cancels the whole founding block before it starts, all payments will be refunded.

CJ White PT voluntarily offers a full change-of-mind refund if the customer cancels within 14 calendar days of online payment and the Reset has not begun. If the Reset has begun at the customer's request, the calculation below applies to the part already supplied.

A one-to-one Reset session can be rearranged without losing it when the customer gives at least 24 hours' notice. A later cancellation or no-show normally uses that week's session. The session will not be lost where a genuine emergency or sudden illness made timely notice impracticable, provided the customer contacts CJ White PT as soon as reasonably possible.

If the customer ends the Reset after any applicable 14-day cancellation period, CJ White PT will calculate the amount payable for the programme supplied and any refund due. Completed programme weeks are valued at:

• £66.50 per completed week under the £399 upfront option; or
• £70 per completed week under the £420 two-payment option.

CJ White PT may also deduct a specific, evidenced loss directly caused by the cancellation that could not reasonably be avoided and has not already been counted. If the calculation is less than the amount already paid, the difference will be refunded. If it is more, CJ White PT may invoice only the difference attributable to service already supplied or a properly evidenced unavoidable loss.

There is no blanket non-refundable balance and no cancellation penalty.

If CJ White PT has to rearrange a session, it will be moved to a mutually suitable weekday time. If CJ White PT cannot complete the programme, the customer will receive a proportionate refund for the part not supplied.

CJ White PT will provide the services with reasonable care and skill, as described on the applicable offer page and in the booking confirmation. CJ White PT provides personal training, exercise coaching and general fitness guidance, not medical diagnosis or treatment. Results depend on individual circumstances and are not guaranteed.

Customers should answer suitability questions honestly, follow reasonable safety instructions and seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional where needed. Customers should not put detailed medical information into an ordinary website enquiry form; CJ White PT will arrange an appropriate private route if relevant information is needed.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility where doing so would be unlawful, including responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

CJ White PT may pause or stop an activity where continuing would be unsafe. Serious abusive, threatening, fraudulent or deliberately unsafe behaviour may result in cancellation. Any refund decision will be fair, proportionate and take account of the service already supplied and any loss that could reasonably be avoided.

Before payment, the customer must be given a clear opportunity to read these terms and must actively accept the applicable version. The acceptance box must not be pre-ticked.

When a service is due to begin within 14 days, a separate unticked control will ask whether the customer expressly requests the early start and acknowledges the proportionate-payment rule. Online payment will not be offered for an affected service until that control is available.

The payment confirmation email will include a durable copy of the accepted terms, the version, the service, price, payment status and cancellation instructions.

Personal information is handled as described in the CJ White PT privacy notice. Transactional messages about an enquiry, booking, payment or service do not require marketing consent. Marketing is optional, uses a separate unticked choice and can be stopped at any time.

Please contact CJ White PT first at hello@cjwhitept.co.uk so there is a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue promptly. These terms do not restrict the customer's right to seek help from a consumer adviser or use any legal remedy.

The version accepted when the contract is formed applies to that purchase. CJ White PT may update terms for future purchases but will not retrospectively remove a customer's rights or materially worsen an existing contract without agreement.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. A consumer keeps any mandatory right to bring a claim in another UK jurisdiction where applicable.

The customer may copy and email the following wording. Use of this form is optional; any clear statement is sufficient.
